Grrl bands rok!

::Last night went to the Tote to see Gazoonga Attack, a rokin' grrl punk band from brisbane. The pineapple princesses put on yet another fantastic gig, despite being the Jan 2 when we are still comingdown and recovering from NYE (and broke), good crown too. The Tremors, a collaboration of guys from Six Ft Hick and Elea from Gazoonga Attack played their 4th ever gig- really great sound, and as usual the Six Ft Hick shenanigans carried through to this project! Went with gal pal despina, we had dinner in a little Thai dive, food good and cheap, and the beer very cheap! *G* is in this shits with me as I'm evil or something, well I AM a lesbian terrorist, and according to the reputable sources in our "leader" Mr Sheen and his bully buddy bush I'm evil. And something about being in the axis of weevils, i'm not a weevil so i'm a tad confused (*shouts out to louise of the use of weevils*)::Tonight is the ladyfest fundraiser no#1 @ Pony, Remake/Remodel are playing, along with the spazzys and mcfm- includes ex members of past rokin melb bands like litany.
